Istvan Kovacs was delegated to one of the most anticipated matches of the third stage of the Champions League group stage. The center from Carei will lead the game at the Santiago Bernabeu, where the dispute between the finalists of last season’s edition, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, will take place on Tuesday, from 22.00. The Romanian, who has collected 22 matches in the Champions League, will be helped on the two lines by Mihai Marica and Florin Neacșu, and Marcel Bîrsan will fulfill the position of the fourth official.
Horațiu Feșnic will referee Girona – Slovan
In addition to the delegation of Istvan Kovacs, the Romanian referee will also have a representative in the Champions League. Horațiu Feșnic will lead for the first time a game from the main phase of the most important competition at club level, he will be at the center of a match also from Spain: Girona and Slovan Bratislava, also scheduled for Tuesday, from 22.00. He will be assisted by Valentin Avram and Alexandru Cerei, while the fourth official will be Szabolcs Kovacs, brother of Istvan Kovacs.
