January continues to be the month when plane tickets are at their lowest prices, with discounts of up to 60% compared to the rest of the year. Popular destinations such as Milan, London and Paris can be visited at extremely advantageous rates, with offers starting from just €30.

These savings are confirmed by an analysis carried out by an online booking platform, which shows that flights purchased during this period are particularly advantageous, according to Agerpres.

After long analyzes of the plane ticket reservation systems and the reservations made by Romanians, Vola.ro confirms that January is the best month to book plane tickets at the lowest prices. Flights bought on “Cheap” are, on average, up to 60% cheaper than those bought the rest of the year“, the company representatives sent.

Among the most affordable flights this month are tickets to Milan, Paris, London, Leeds and Malaga, which can cost under €30. There are also offers at rates below 50 euros for destinations such as Pisa, Basel, Rome or Valencia.

In 2024, Romanians spent approximately 600 million euros in countries such as Germany, Italy, Great Britain, Spain and the Netherlands, and total spending increased by 42% compared to the previous year. Also, the average amount spent with the card abroad was 21 euros.
