In the online environment, a post appeared in which it is reported that Judge Măndica Badiu, who is the aunt of George Simion, the golden candidate for the presidency, actively participated in his election campaign, despite the fact that the function he occupies does not allow this.

Ionel Stoica, former counselor of Clotilde Armand, drew attention to the fact that, despite his position, Judge Măndica Badiu has actively involved in the election campaign of his nephew, George Simion, the Gold candidate in the presidential elections.
In a post on May 7 on his Facebook account, Ionel Stoica also says that, more than that, it would have been on several occasions in the Vrancea County Electoral Bureau, including the one for the Romanian President’s election in 2024.
“At the request of the public, this is Judge Măndica Badiu, the Aunt of George Simion. (…) It is for the first time in the electoral history of post-December Romania when a magistrate actively participates in the election campaign in the presidential elections. Only praises and praise words.
In addition, the judge Măndica Badiu has been, several times, member in the Vrancea County Electoral Bureauincluding the one for the election of the President of Romania in 2024. An incompatibility that can be seen from the plane, considering that her nephew was one of the candidates ”, he reported.
In this context, he accuses the Judicial Inspection and the Superior Council of Magistracy of not taking any measures against the magistrate involved in the election campaign.

In reaction, the Alliance for the Union of Romanians has distributed, in turn, a message stating that it is not the incompatibility situation, because the magistrate is George Simion Ruda of the third degree.
“Regarding the fact that Mrs. Badiu was a member of the Vrancea County Electoral Bureau in the 2024 presidential elections, we inform you that, being a third degree, there is no incompatibility.
