The driver of the vehicle was detained for 24 hours, for committing the crime of leaving the scene of the accident or altering or erasing its traces.


On Tuesday morning, the car driven by the African player injured a 67-year-old woman who was crossing Gherghiței street, at the intersection with Zamfir Nicolae street.

According to the Road Brigade, around 05:45, the police were notified by 112 that a woman with head injuries was lying on the road. A medical crew transported the victim to the hospital for treatment, initially stating that he had fallen. Later, around 07:00, the medical unit informed the police that the injuries suffered by the woman were caused by a traffic accident.

Following the checks, it was determined that the 67-year-old woman was the victim of a road accident, and the driver left the scene without the consent of the police.

The 26-year-old footballer Keita is in police custody pending further investigations. The investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the event.
