“I went to this doctor … my wife (Bianca censori) He took me to do this because he said, “Something in your personality doesn’t seem to be bipolar, I saw bipolar before. And I got to find out that I actually have a case of autism“Kanye said during Justin Laboy’s podcast.
The artist also said that the new diagnosis helped him to better understand his behavior, especially his 2018 gesture to wear a Magă (Make America Great Again), and praised Trump.
“Autism leads you to a Rain Man -like thing. I will wear this Trump hat because I like Trump in general. And then, when people tell you not to do it, you only stay on that point. And that’s my problem“Kanye added.
Kanye’s ex -wife, Kim Kardashian, stated in 2020 that she had difficulty managing the artist’s mental health. Kanye told Podcast that he no longer takes medicines, because autism is not a disease, so it is not treated.
“I haven’t taken medicines since I learned that bipolarity was not the right diagnosis. It is about finding things that do not block creativity, obviously, this is what I bring to the world. It is worth struggling, as long as you all have creativity“He said.
He said he was attentive to episodes when mental health is affected.
“I am carefully in advance – but if you reach the point where it happens, you will stay in that position for a while. It could take three days, four days, one week. Some people, if they come to this situation, you have to put them in a place that is not public“Kanye said.
In 2016, Kanye managed to shock the fans after being hospitalized for a “psychiatric evaluation”.
The rapper would have received treatment for “severe sleep and dehydration”, but his health seems to be much more serious, being described as “deeply depressed and paranoid,” his close friends said.
Therefore, he had to cancel the “Saint Pablo” US tour, which had 21 concerts. The tournament was in support of the seventh album in the artist’s discography, “The Life of Pablo”, which received five Grammy nominations.
