After a vacation of several days spent in Thessaloniki in the company of her Greek boyfriend, Thomas Ferfelis, on Thursday she returned to Romania wearing the engagement ring on her finger.
The two appeared publicly for the first time at Romania’s match against the Netherlands at Euro 2024, where journalists photographed her as she embraced her boyfriend and overwhelmed him with tender gestures, something unusual for Kira Hagi, who kept out of the public eye.
“My parents kept me away from the media, or they tried. Dad taught me and my brother that everything he experienced and all the fame was like fireworks on a cake. It’s nice when you see them in that moment, but that moment can’t last forever.” said Kira Hagi, for Unica magazine.

Kira Hagi and Thomas Ferfelis, who is also 28 years old, were colleagues at the International British School of Bucharest. However, their love story began later, years later, when they met again. According to his LinkedIn account, Thomas graduated in 2019 from four years of business studies at the famous University of Southampton, in Great Britain.
