On Friday, June 7, the 12th grade students heard the bell for the last time. The graduates participated in the celebration of the end of the school year with emotions but also great thoughts for the future: most of them are preparing to take the Baccalaureate exam in just 9 days. The Minister of Education, Ligia Deca sent them a message on this occasion.

“Trust in who you are, what makes you unique and what you can become! Be worthy and do not stop believing in your power to change the world – no one and nothing should convince you that it is not in your power to make it better! It is! I want to see the world transformed by your constructive critical spirit, your values and your vision for the future!”, transmitted Ligia Deca.
The minister urges children to never stop believing in their power to change the world. However, this advice is in total contradiction with the wave of hate from teachers (and not only) directed at Iulia Cociuba, the head student from Arad, whose message to the education system caused a huge scandal, dividing society in two big camps: some, including many teachers, accused the young woman's gesture, while others encouraged it.
The comments that flow under the minister's message also touch on this topic. The netizens, who reacted, many of them, ironically, laughing, are of the opinion that the official is keeping silent precisely because he feels like a fly on his hat. The users blame the silence of the minister but also the removal from the page of the comments of other users, who also referred to this topic.
“Some parents said that yesterday all the comments that mentioned the words of the graduate were deleted. If these things were confirmed, it would be an obvious validation of what the child said. From the highest possible level! “No word about Iulia Cociuba's speech?” andhere are two of the comments left, users say, on the page.
