In Romania, the electoral system is a proportional one, the members of the future Parliament of the country will be elected from all the parties that passed the electoral threshold of 5% of the vote at the national level or at least 20% of the votes from four constituencies. In Romania, the representation norm for elections to the Chamber of Deputies is one deputy per 73,000 inhabitants, while the representation norm for future members of the Senate is one senator per 168,000 inhabitants.
