The last month of summer turns Max into a real entertainment hub. From movie premieres, new series and seasons, and the most exciting moments of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, everything will be available on the Max streaming platform.

TV SERIES
Kit Harington in the series “Financial World”
From August 1, the series “Night Flight” (“Red Eye”) will be available on Max. It will feature the story of three women – police officer Hana Li, journalist Jess Li and MI5 agent Madeline Delaney – who are thrown into the same dangerous conspiracy when a British doctor is arrested for murder when he returns home from a trip to Beijing.
The third season of Industry, which explores the world of high-end finance, launches on August 12 on Max. The new season brings to the fore the “ethical” investment initiative through Lumi, a “green” technology company run by Sir Henry Muck. The production continues to follow the journey of young bankers in an intense environment, combining elements of financial drama with current themes of sustainability.
The “Rick and Morty” universe is expanding with a new anime adaptation. “Rick and Morty: The Anime” (“Rick and Morty: The Anime”) will be available on the Max streaming platform from August 16. The new adaptation captures the normal life of the Smith family: Rick relaxes in a pseudo-world between the multiverses, Summer helps Space Beth fight the Galactic Federation, and Morty falls in love with a mysterious girl who happens to be a timeless being.
The list of series that will be available on Max starting in August is completed with the second season of “Dezghețul” (“The Thaw”), available from August 23, and “City of God: The Fight Rages On”), from August 26.

From August 2, “Downtown Abbey: A New Era” (“Downtown Abbey: A New Era”) will be available on Max. In this new adaptation, the Crawleys embark on a journey to the south of France to uncover the mysteries of a villa newly inherited by the Countess of Grantham.
Also starting August 2, visionary Jeymes Samuel’s The Book of Clarence will bring a fresh take on a classic Hollywood genre: epic films with biblical themes. The film tells the story of Clarence trying to build a better life for himself and be worthy of the woman he loves. He is captivated by the glory and power of the Messiah and his apostles.
“May December” debuts on Max on August 16. The film explores the complex dynamics of a celebrity couple whose controversial relationship captured the public’s attention two decades ago. The fragile balance of their lives is disrupted by the arrival of an actor determined to uncover the truth behind their publicized story.
August 23 brings Max “Women Talking”. The story focuses on the women of a Mennonite religious colony who gather in a barn to discuss how to deal with a series of sexual abuses. When the men are gone, the women discuss three options: do nothing, stay and fight, or run away. They fear that defiance will keep them out of heaven or that they cannot survive without their sons and husbands.
From August 30, “The Miracle Club” will be available on Max. The film tells the story of four overwhelmed housewives, played by Agnes O’Casey, Laura Linney, Kathy Bates and Maggie Smith, in a Dublin conservatory in the 1960s. They receive help from their priest and earn a well-deserved pilgrimage to the French holy city of Lourdes.
On August 31st, Max brings the film “Madame Web”, an exciting adventure starring Dakota Johnson and Sydney Sweeney. The production follows the story of a young woman who finds herself in the unexpected situation of protecting three women against a great threat.

In the first half of August, the Max streaming platform continues to bring you every live moment from the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. And the passion for tennis and cycling returns in force in the second part of August. Watch the US Open, the last Grand Slam tournament of the year, and the Vuelta a España, the cycling race that brings together the world’s best athletes. DOCUMENTATION & REALITY

From August 1, “Taylor Swift in court” (“Taking on Taylor Swift”) will be available on Max. Featured Sean Hall talks about the long lawsuit against Taylor Swift and the music industry, influenced by decades of cultural appropriation.
Also, seasons six and seven of Outback Opal Hunters will be available on Max, where the toughest treasure hunters risk everything to find opal in the Australian outback.
On August 2, the third season of “Obesity Clinic Italy” appears on Max, in which in a specialized clinic in Naples, morbidly obese people who want to lose weight, they will begin the most difficult year of their lives.
From August 4, the documentary “Elizabeth Taylor: The Lost Tapes” (“Elizabeth Taylor: The Lost Tapes”) will be available on Max. The film is a moving portrait of activist and Hollywood legend Elizabeth Taylor, her story told in her own words through newly discovered interviews.
From August 8, it will be available on Max and the documentary “Take It Together: Who Killed Lyric and Elizabeth?” (“Taken Together: Who Killed Lyric and Elizabeth?”). The three-part documentary investigates the 2012 double kidnapping and murder of cousins Lyric Cook and Elizabeth Collins, a mysterious and still unsolved case. Dylan Sires, a former photographer, spent years of his life documenting the case, conducting interviews with local authorities and victims’ families.
From August 26, season two of “Naked and Afraid: Last One Standing” will be available on Max. This season, the toughest competition for $100,000 takes place in South Africa’s Oribi Canyon over 45 days.

From August 2, “The Inseparables” will be available on Max. Don and DJ Doggy Dog meet in Central Park and embark on an adventure through New York together.
From August 5, season four of “Grizzy and the Lemmings” (“Grizzy and the Lemmings”) appears on Max. The animated series features Grizzy, who is big, strong and smart as a bear. No animal dares to mess with him, except the lemmings, the most harmless and mischievous family of mammals.
Max will also bring other children’s movies in August, such as “The Lego Movie”, “The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part”, “The Lego Batman Movie” (“The Lego Batman Movie”), “Lego Ninjago: The Movie” (“The Lego Ninjago Movie”).
