Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu supports the restructuring of the budget apparatus and the dismissals started in the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies. We remind you that yesterday, Ilie Bolojan was booed by Senate employees, at the protest organized by them.

“Restructuring the budget apparatus is a priority that I stated in the Parliament itself, at the investiture of the Government, and I am determined that – regardless of the obstacles – I will see it through!”claims Ciolacu in a post on his Facebook page.
In addition, the prime minister renounced the former PSD dignitaries who participated in the protest on Wednesday. In his text, he also referred to the ex-wife of the PSD baron Dumitru Buzatu, and to Cristina Târteață, former PSD state secretary, currently employed in the Senate.
“The fact that, among those who protested in the Senate, there were also employees who in the past were supported by the PSD in public positions, it represents a personal approach of those concerned.”
“The same process has started in the entire central administration, including at the Executive level. As soon as I have the exact data, I will announce the number of positions that are disappearing from the General Secretariat of the Government and from all subordinate institutions.
At the same time, starting the process of administrative-territorial reform it is the absolutely necessary continuation that Romania needs. The result must be a much more efficient budget system, with valuable people, paid according to performance, as in the private sector – not with increments like “on the air”have become an absolutely aberrant monthly habit.”
