Marco Leu will compete for the first time in the National Coast Speed Championship, at the Mediaș Cup, the sixth round of season 2025, one month after its debut as Forlligt in the race in Sinaia.

The son of the great champion Mihai Leu decided to continue the legendary story in Motorsport and to pursue a career in sports car. After, at the previous stage in Sinaia, he had a praised journey by specialists as an opening, the Hunedorean now takes a new step towards his dream.
In Mediaș, this weekend, Marco will officially compete in the championship, piloting a Peugeot 208 R2 model within Group 7, one of the most disputed categories.
After the incident at Super Rally Timișoara, when the Audi R8 brakes gave up, the young pilot is determined to achieve a good result at the stage scheduled on Saturday and Sunday in the Sibiu city.
“I’m eager to start. It is a very competitive route, and for me it is honor to be among the competitors. I wish to grow step by step and carry on what my father started“Said Marco.
In recent weeks, he has participated in several test sessions on the circuit with various competition machines. “I adapted easily. I look at each stage as an experience from which I have to learn,” he added.
After the Mediaș stage, on September 12-13, Marco could be among the competitors at the Mihai Leu Trophy, the third stage of the National Super Rally Powered by Superbet.
A total of 60 pilots are expected at the start of the sixth stage of the National Coast Championship, the Mediaș Cup. On Saturday, the workouts are scheduled, and on Sunday, from 1:45 pm, the two competition sleeves will be held.
