In the second edition of “MasterChef” season 9, broadcast on Monday, September 16, chefs Sorin Bontea, Florin Dumitrescu and Cătălin Scarlătescu will meet Ionela Grigore, a woman who has been active in the catering industry for three decades.

Ionela Grigore, 50 years old, works at a sausage shop in Hala Obor in the capital.
“Most of the customers, or patrons, or sellers in Obor eat out of my hand. Which makes me feel proud of what I do”the woman will say in the second edition of the culinary show.
Taking into account her occupation, Ionela Grigore will prepare a hot plate of charcuterie, but she will also surprise the three chefs.
“I know, it’s very risky, but I chose to make dishes from my job category“, the woman will confess.
The cooking show debuted on Tuesday, September 10. In the first edition of the show, the three chefs were taken by surprise by a competitor. He cooked a stone soup with Mediterranean salad.
“I’ve seen this thing with stones in food markets in Malaysia and Bangkok. I wasn’t originally planning to come with stones, but I said I wanted to try something different. I want to bring something unique. I’m determined, I’m coming to give food stones to the chefs!”said Petre Catană
