Olguța Vasilescu: “The project, postponed for years”

The mayor of Craiova, Olguța Vasilescu, told the same press conference that this hospital has been postponed for years over time, and the works blocked by bureaucracy but also of obscure interests. “There were many delays from previous governments that made all kinds of strategies. This hospital should have been completed so far. Since the arrival of the Cioloș Government, in 2016, this investment has been blocked. Why? Because a study was ordered to say if such a hospital was needed. In the end, we have come to have the largest investment in Romania in the health field: we signed the second contract of works worth 400 million euros ”, explained the Predener.

This Mamut investment will serve not only the Oltenia region, but also the counties near this region. “Argeș, Teleorman and so on. We are talking about a hospital that is expected by half of the south of Romania ”, said the mayor.
