Mircea Geoană collected almost 50,000 signatures in three days for his presidential candidacy. He needs 200,000

Supporters of the Movement “Romania is Reviving!” they collected, in three days, approximately 50,000 signatures in support of Mircea Geoană.

The independent candidate for the Presidency of Romania, Mircea Geoană, is doing very well when it comes to collecting signatures. His supporters from the Movement “Romania Renaște!” they collected approximately 50,000 signatures in just 3 days, in all the counties of the country, as stated by Alina Achim, the spokeswoman of the MRR.

“Today is the fourth official day of collecting signatures
for the candidacy of Mr. Mircea Geoană. We enjoy the positive feedback received so far and are grateful to everyone who has already signed“, is the message from the Facebook page “Romania Renaște”.

The movement installed about 170 tents for collecting signatures, in all the counties of the country, which cost about 30,000 euros.

According to the law, an independent candidate in the presidential elections must collect 200,000 signatures of support, the same applies to candidates supported by parties.
