The leadership of the Oțelul Galați football club asks for the help of the supporters to clear the snow from the lawn before the match with UTA.
On Thursday, in a message published on a social media site, the Oțelul Galați football club asked for the help of its own supporters to remove snow from the lawn before the match at home with UTA in the 28th stage of the Superliga.
“SC Oțelul Galați has started the process of removing snow from the playing field for the match with UTA. Our club has already started the work to prepare the playing surface for tomorrow’s match. We are appealing to all supporters who want to lend a helping hand: we are waiting for you today, throughout the day, at Stadionul Oțelul to help clear the field of snow. Together we are stronger“, says the club’s message on the official Facebook page.
The group also publishes a photo of the Oțelul Stadium in which the lawn is completely covered with snow following the snowfall of the last few days.
The Oțelul Galați football team meets the UTA team, on Friday, at 17:00, at the Oțelul Stadium in Galaţi, in a match counting for the 28th stage of the Superliga.
The two teams are neighbors in the standings. After being in the play-off zone for a long time, they dropped in the ranking in the second part of the return.
UTA is in 8th place, with 41 points, and Oțelul is in 9th place, with 40 points. FC Argeș, the last team ranked in the play-off position (6th place), has 43 points.
