Companies have updated their policies on passenger behavior, to address directly to bare travelers, writes Explore. Therefore, according to the new rules, the crew members now have the opportunity to ban or land the passengers who choose to walk through the plane barefoot or without adequate footwear.

The new measures have been taken for reasons related to hygiene and safety, because, in most cases, the airline and cleaning crews have very little time to land the passengers, to clean the plane, to refuel with food and to embark on the new travelers.

This suggests that many planes are not sufficiently cleaned in that short time between landing and embarking on new passengers, and carpets, chairs and other areas are frequently touched by passengers.

So, if we choose to go barefoot through the plane, we risk contracting infections at the feet, fungal infections. Also, in the case of unexpected or possible accidents, we can hurt ourselves much easier if we are barefoot.

In the case of long flights, during which the legs can be swollen due to the pressure in the plane cab or the state for a long time, we can still dismantle, if we feel the need, but at least remain with socks. Also, if we choose to get off during the flight, it is advisable to have a pair of slippers to make the roads to the bathroom or through the plane cab.
