10% more Romanian tourists will opt for vacations in Greece this year compared to last year, predicts the Paralela 45 travel agency, which announces through a press release a diversification of offers.

“The holidays with charter flight in the Greek islands have started, the races in the 2024 season being much more diversified compared to the previous years, when they were organized from the big cities of the country to Crete, Rhodes, Corfu and Zakynthos. Direct flights to Kos, Lesvos, Kefalonia and Santorini have been added for this summer. The charter program to Greece of Paralela45 takes place until the end of September and includes 26 weekly flights from 11 cities to eight islands. The most flights of the season are to Crete/Heraklion, weekly flights from 11 cities: Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Iasi, Timisoara, Baia Mare, Brasov, Craiova, Oradea, Sibiu, Suceava and Târgu Mureş“, states the cited source.
Paralela45 estimates a 10% increase in the destination Greece in the 2024 season, compared to last year, when it recorded over 20,000 tourists who opted for its charter flights, individual tourism with accommodation bought from the agency or circuits organized by the tour operator.
According to the agency, most sales for summer 2024 were made during the Early Booking period.
The most holiday packages, over 5,500, were sold for Crete/Chania and Crete/Heraklion. The cheapest vacation in Greece cost 350 euros/person, at a three-star hotel with flights, transfers and tourist assistance included. The most expensive so far cost 15,300 euros, the accommodation being in a luxurious villa of a five-star hotel, from where tourists have direct access to the beach.
For many hotels in the Paralela45 portfolio, there are currently discounts of up to 20%. A vacation in Heraklion, with a flight from Bucharest, costs from 384 euros/person, from Cluj-Napoca: from 379 euros/person, from Iasi: from 395 euros/person, from Timisoara: from 456 euros/person, Târgu Mureş: from 376 euros/person, Oradea: from 362 euros/person, Sibiu: from 439 euros/person, Braşov: from 464 euros/person, Suceava: from at 398 euros/person, Craiova: from 399 euros/person, Baia Mare: from 416 euros/person. There are seven-night packages, with accommodation at a three-star hotel, with breakfast and all taxes included, but many tourists opt for superior comfort at four- and five-star hotels.
Summer vacation in Chania costs from 408 euros/person, in Lesbos from 362 euros/person, in Zakynthos from 362 euros/person, in Rhodes from 369 euros/person, in Kos from 422 euros /person, in Kefalonia from 466 euros/person, in Corfu from 379 euros/person.
From July 5, Paralela45 offers an additional five percent discount for all holiday packages in Greece with charter flight and departures in July, booked through its own agencies or online, as part of the campaign “July Happy Hour 5%“. The campaign lasts until July 14 and is available in agencies between 12:00 and 14:00.

The discount code is also valid for charter flight holidays in July in Turkey, Spain, Cyprus, Egypt, Albania, Italy, Portugal, Tunisia.
