The minister spoke on Wednesday, on Digi24, about the biggest control in the last 20 years on private clinics that have at least one operating room.

Alexandru Rogobete said that the checks will be completed in two weeks, writes Mediafax.

“The check will be completed in about two weeks and I will make a full report. I can tell you that there are over 20 clinics where the operating authorization was lifted and more than 30 others to whom contraventional sanctions were administered”, said the minister.

He said that apart from fines and closures, the most important thing is that inspectors draw clinics into compliance.

Asked what the detected irregularities are, Alexandru Robobete said: “Most of them do not respect, or most of those that were closed, do not respect the minimum operating norms”.
