Roxana Moise, former handball player and known to the general public after competing in the reality show Exatlon, died at only 39 years old. She left behind three children, a husband and a grieving family. The former athlete lived in Râmnicu Vâlcea.
The local press wrote about the tragedy that befell the handball player who had re-entered the public’s attention after being in the Warriors team, in the first season of Exatlon Romania, and fought head-to-head with Giani Kiriță or Vladimir Drăghia, from the Faimoși team.
The family has not officially announced the cause of death, but a relative claims, online, that Roxana would have faced a cancer diagnosis. His statement is true, especially since in recent months, on social networks, Roxana Moise has appeared in pictures with a headscarf and very short hair.

After giving up performance handball, due to a leg injury, the young woman had re-profiled herself, becoming a kangoo jumps instructor, but also a sports teacher at a high school in Râmnicu Vâlcea.
