AUR appointed its candidates for the leadership of several County Councils, the actor Mugur Mihăiescu being the candidate of the political formation in Olt County.

The National Office of the AUR has validated the candidacies for the positions of presidents of County Councils of the following persons:
Blejan Ciprian – Bihor county – engineer and entrepreneur
Constantin Ciprian Iacob – Dâmbovița county – lawyer
Dămureanu Ringo – Dolj county – engineer and deputy
Zorlescu Adrian – Gorj county – construction engineer and contractor
Pop Darius – Maramureș county – artist (Conservator) and deputy
Lavric Sorin – Neamț county – doctor, writer and deputy
Mihăescu Mugur – Olt county – actor and entrepreneur
Băculescu Vlad – Satu Mare county – lawyer and entrepreneur
Florea Gabriel – Teleorman county – entrepreneur
Badiu George – Vrancea county – jurist, former MAI officer and deputy
Miron Neculai – Suceava county – entrepreneur and current mayor of Bosanci commune
The actor is also on the list of the political formation for the European Parliament elections.
Mugur Mihăiescu joined the AUR towards the end of 2022. Previously, invited to the AUR Congress, the actor stated that he was even called by the president of the political formation following a post on Facebook regarding the “Merit” platform, which he established for parties. Mugur Mihăiescu said then that he will go to all the congresses of the political parties to which he is invited.
The actor Mugur Mihăiescu is famous for his performance in the series “Vacanța Mare”, later becoming an entrepreneur.
