Nadia proves that Romania was wronged: proof that the Olympic bronze was taken from us for nothing

Romania was mocked, Monday afternoon, when the bronze medal, which should have gone to either Ana Maria Bărbosu or Sabrina Voinea, was unfairly placed around the neck of an American, Jordan Chiles.

The Paris scandal has several aspects. First of all, the increase of the American’s grade, after the end of the final, based on an appeal! The official explanation: “Jordan Chiles originally received the score of 13.666. However, after an appeal (no – by the Americans) it was concluded that, during its exercise, the degree of difficulty had been wrongly assessed“.

Then comes another shocking decision. Romania’s appeal against the note received by Sabrina Voinea was rejected. The official explanation: “Her foot left the carpet“. In support of this idea, the referees told Nadia Comăneca that they saw a photo that confirms this verdict. Attention: this photo has not been published anywhere. And, very likely, she doesn’t even exist, as Nadia Comăneci (62 years old) implied.

She just shared Sabrina Voinea’s exercise and from the images posted by her, it appears that the leg of the Romanian gymnast did not leave the carpet, as claimed by those who evaluated the performance of our athlete.

Seeing this injustice, Sabrina’s mother, Camelia Voinea, announced her daughter’s withdrawal from competitive activity. Moreover, today, the former great gymnast announced that she has started a process in search of the stolen medal, as Adevărul wrote here.
