“The tests have a structure and evaluation characteristics similar to those administered in previous years. The tests are developed by the National Center for Policies and Evaluation in Education (CNPEE), have a format similar to international assessments and involve an average level of difficulty. it is stated in the Ministry's press release.

We remind you that the duration allocated to solving is 60 minutes for each administered test (EN IV and EN VI), compared to 30 minutes for each test administered in the National Assessment for the second grade.

The tests are evaluated within the educational units by the evaluation commissions established at their level, within no more than seven days from the date of the last test.

As a novelty element for the administration and capitalization of the recorded results, the collection of data resulting from the evaluation of the written tests will be carried out with the help of a new digital application.

“This will allow, on the one hand, the collection of data under conditions of safety and optimized quality control, and, on the other hand, it will give the assessment committees access to their own assessment data of the students and allow the quick and flexible capitalization of them. Thus, it will be facilitated to make the class reports and the school report, without additional bureaucratic efforts and in a shorter time”states the Ministry of Education.

The individual results obtained in these evaluations are not displayed/communicated publicly and are not recorded in the class catalog.

According to the Ministry, the reports generated at the educational unit level based on these results provide “statistical arguments of maximum importance and relevance” for the construction of measures to capitalize on the results recorded at these national assessments, measures “focused” at the level of the educational unit and for the beneficiaries of educational services: students, parents/guardians, teaching staff, educational support staff, etc.
