The Neversea Festival will not be held this year, but in 2026, in Constanța, because the organizers failed to find a beach sector free of contracts and which correspond to the standards and concept.

Arriving at the 7th edition, the festival has been organized so far on the modern beach in Constanța, but in recent years, it has been auctioned for other commercial activities, of type beach bar, lounge rentals, a situation that significantly affects the surface and conducting the festival.
The reason why the organizers were forced to make this decision is that for this year, the representatives of Neversea along with the local authorities were unable to identify a beach sector free of contracts and that correspond to the standards and the concept with which the festival fans have been accustomed so far. Modern beach, the location where the festival has been held so far, has been bid for other Beach Bar type activities, rents, a situation that has significantly affected the surface and conducting the festival, and in recent months, new important sectors in that location have been auctioned.
The deputy mayor of Constanța, Costin Răsăuțeanu, made his commitment to the organizers to unlock this situation, and to look for solutions that will allow the continuation of the Neversea Festival, on a beach in Constanța, under legal conditions and to the specific standards of an international major festival.
“Neversea is a special concept, becoming in time the largest and most spectacular beach festival in Europe. We have invested as a lot of passion, effort, energy and considerable resources to reach this point. We are determined and we commit to search and find a solution together with the local authorities that will allow us to organize the festival in the long term. Neversea break for this summer, Deputy Mayor Costin Răsăuțeanu convinced us not to give up viable options, and by his active involvement, we are sure that we will find solutions to carry out Neversea in 2026 and you would ensure long-term success.“, Bogdan Buta, CEO, founder of the Untold Universe group (a group that also owns the Neversea Festival) said.
“I knew that the organizers of the Neversea Festival were at the point where they could no longer organize the festival, as there was no solution with the beach, which I considered from the beginning a great loss for tourism and local economy. I made the decision to get directly involved, because I know how much such an event for the city means. The City Hall must be an integrator and we will support them with everything that is necessary for this event to remain in Constanța. We already have some variants of available locations to be analyzed together with the Neversea team. Once again, I mention that such an event is essential for the city, both culturally and economically.”, Said Costin Răsăuțeanu, deputy mayor of Constanța.
At the same time, in the coming weeks, all festival fans who have purchased Early Bird subscriptions for Neversea 2025, will receive multiple options for their use.
“We are deeply grateful to the Neversea fans who were with us and believed in our story. The decision to move the next edition for 2026 was not an easy one. We promise that the wait will be worth and that we will return with a spectacular, intense and memorable experience. We thank them for their trust and patience.”said Edy Chereji, co-founder & Chief of Public Affairs of the Untold Universe group.
