The Ministry of Education proposes a major change in the organization of national exams from 2025.
According to a draft order under public debate, students will, for the first time, have the opportunity to view their corrected papers before submitting appeals. This measure is intended to give candidates a clearer picture of the assessment and help them make an informed decision whether or not to challenge their grade.
In addition to this important change, the Ministry of Education also proposes an adjustment of the exam calendar. Thus, the tests for the assessment of Romanian language skills, the language of international circulation and the digital ones will take place between January 27 and February 7, 2025, a few months earlier than in previous years.
As for the written tests of the National Assessment and the Baccalaureate, they would take place in June, more precisely on June 23 and 24 for the National Assessment and between June 10 and 12 for the Baccalaureate.
The final form of all documents will be published after analyzing the feedback received and after a meeting with the Social Dialogue Commission.
The main proposed changes:
– Baccalaureate skills – period January 27 – February 7, 2025;
-Written tests (EN VIII and baccalaureate 2025) completed before the end of June;
– The possibility of viewing the works after displaying the initial results and before appeals, both at the national assessment and at the baccalaureate;
-Publishing, alongside the exam calendars, the national exam simulation calendars (EN VIII and baccalaureate 2025).
– The proposed calendars are available in the images from the post on the Ministry of Education’s Facebook page.
