Jannik Sinner came to understand with Wada and accepted a 3 -month suspension, in exchange for withdrawing the call made to the TAS by the agency fighting the doping in sports. Nick Kyrgios, one of the most fierce contestants of the Italian, reacted immediately, considering the decision too gentle.

Wada announced this morning that Jannik Sinner is suspended between February 9 and May 4, the player explaining that he has accepted the penalty to put an end to the controversy around him. He certainly did it because at Tas he could receive a suspension between 1 and 2 years.
One of those who fought – declarative – for the penalty of the world leader caught fire to find out the news. Considering that he had a preferential treatment and was worth a severe punishment, the Australian said that the sanction is far too gentle and unfair.
“So Wada comes and says it could be a prohibition of 1-2 years. Obviously, Sinner’s team has done everything in a power to go and take a 3-month suspension, without lost titles, without prizes in lost money or not?Kyrgios wrote on his personal Twitter account.
