Nicolae Ciucă, official visit to Chisinau. What is on the agenda of the president of the Senate

The President of the Romanian Senate, Nicolae Ciucă, will pay an official visit to the Republic of Moldova, in Chisinau, on Friday.

His program begins with a meeting with the President of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, Igor Grosu. Afterwards, Nicolae Ciucă will meet with the head of state, Maia Sandu.

A special moment of the visit is the ceremony in which Nicolae Ciucă will plant a tree in the “Alexandru Ciubotaru” National Botanical Garden, together with the president of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, Igor Grosu.

Also from March 1, the officials are going to participate in the inauguration of the 58th edition of the “Mărțișor” International Music Festival with the tagline “Spring is coming, spring is coming, Mărțișor throughout the country”.

The President of the Romanian Senate, Nicolae-Ionel Ciucă, will be accompanied, on his visit to Chisinau, by MEPs Siegfried Mureșan and Rareș Bogdan, as well as by the State Secretary of the Department for Relations with the Republic of Moldova, Adrian Dupu.
