Nicușor Dan, an independent candidate for the presidential elections, said on Monday that he does not believe that the interim president, Ilie Bolojan, will run for president.

Asked about why he thinks Elena Lasconi constantly attacks him, Nicuşor Dan replied that he has a very good relationship with USR.
“I think I have a very good relationship with the USR, default with the president of the USR, with Mrs. Lasconi. Apart from that, I said several times, it is the decision of the USR, it is the candidate of the USR that I respect and more. My candidacy goes on ””said Nicușor Dan for Digi24.
He also asked if he believes that Bolojan will run for president, the mayor general replied that the parties had a congress, in which they appointed common candidate to Crin Antonescu.
“Rather, I think no. When there is a coalition, his reign is the leader of one of the parties in this coalition. Each of the parties in this coalition had a congress in which they appointed a candidate, Mr. Antonescu. So this is the situation that all the leaders of these parties maintain. I don’t think so. If he is applying … we will go before”, Said Nicuşor Dan.
Last but not least, the mayor said he had his own election campaign and that over 4,500 people donated for it.
“I have my campaign that I announced, now I think it’s two months. Since then I went on. There are volunteers who gather signatures. Many people who donated money, over 4,500 people who donated. I have a message, my campaign goes on. Further, who will be the candidates? For the moment, they seem to be the ones who are officially announced. If something will change in these 10 days that have remained until the deposit will not change anything in the message I have for people and the candidacy I have announced”, Said Nicuşor Dan.
