Oral-B launches, during Romanian Design Week, the “Monumental Care Map” – a collection of valuable buildings of Bucharest

From your smile to the city where you live, Oral-B and Romanian Design Week celebrate care at the highest level.

Oral-B, with the support of Romanian Design Week, launches the “Monumental Care” campaign, which aims to highlight the beauty of a collection of heritage buildings, restored or in the process of restoration, intended to complement the urban landscape of Bucharest. That's why he gathered in an interactive map 29 buildings with special architecture, which have regained their former glory, the local community being able to discover interesting information about them and their history.

The main objective of the campaign is to celebrate the architectural beauty of the buildings present on the interactive map. Through this initiative, Oral-B wants to set a positive example of the highest level of care when it comes to all aspects of people's lives, from oral health to the buildings we are surrounded by.

The map will be launched during this year's edition of Romanian Design Week, as a call for people to prioritize care – both personal and of the urban space in which we all live, being able to admire the well-kept monuments, present on the website www.ingrijiremonumentala.ro.

Through the theme of the 2024 edition – Unlock the City – Romanian Design Week aims to investigate the methods by which creativity and innovation can shape the cities of tomorrow and at the same time contribute to the exploration of Bucharest and the discovery of its potential and its layers, the creative spaces in the city and of the cultural organizations or projects that animate and define them. In this sense, Oral-B joins the effort and supports the objectives of the edition through the Monumental Care Map project, an initiative to map the buildings in Bucharest that have been rehabilitated and brought back to life”, according to Raluca Mirel, Project Manager, Romanian Design Week.

The partnership with Romanian Design Week makes us happy and excited, because Oral-B is a brand constantly oriented towards innovation and providing consumers with an excellent experience. We found common points between the range of iO toothbrushes, which offer top performance when it comes to oral care, and refurbished buildings in Bucharest, all involving a high degree of technology, design and dedication“, said Ioana Gherghe, Senior Brand Manager, Oral-B.

The project was built around three pillars of reference to support the personal care metaphor applied equally to the urban spaces that surround us:

The technology underlines the Oral-B brand's determination to push boundaries and use technology to improve the quality of everyday life, just as refurbishing buildings involves a high level of technology.

The design
reflects the dedication to enhancing the user experience through a pleasing appearance of the products, just as monument buildings are considered “architectural jewels”.

Dedication is required to exceed expectations, fostering a culture of care and excellence.

Thus, through this campaign, Oral-B, by supporting Romanian Design Week, wants to provide a positive example of how people can take care of themselves, but also of the city where they live.
