PENNY Romania, in partnership with the Romanian Football Federation, continues the “PENNY Points League” initiative, a unique program dedicated to football clubs for children, juniors and youth throughout the country.
Launched in 2023, the project aims to contribute to the training of future Romanian football champions, offering material support and sports equipment to affiliated clubs.
This innovative program combines the passion for football with the desire to actively support the sport at the grassroots level, being an example of the involvement of communities in the sports education of the younger generation.

How does the PENNY Points League work?
The program is simple and accessible to any customer of PENNY stores.
For every 10 lei spent in the network’s stores, customers receive a point, which they can redirect to a football club for children, juniors or youth, registered in the platform. The points accumulated by clubs will be used to purchase standard equipment and accessories (balls, tracksuits, shoes, goalposts, etc.), as well as thermal clothing for the cold season and auxiliary products for training, including complete football goals with posts and net .
To participate, customers just need to access the platform Ligapuncteloruppenny.rowhere they can register shopping vouchers and redirect the accumulated points to the football club of their choice. The campaign runs until 5 November 2024, providing a generous period for football supporters to contribute to the development of the next generation of players.
A junior club can only receive points from PENNY customers if it is registered on the platform. Any football club for children, juniors or youth in Romania can sign up for the program by accessing the digital platform available at www.ligapunctelopenny.ro.
The first edition of the PENNY Points League was a great success
Over 650 sports clubs were registered in the first edition of the PENNY Points League, which benefited from equipment worth a total of 1.62 million lei. During the campaign, 1,865 orders were placed, delivering more than 35,000 products to clubs to improve training conditions.
This support has been essential for youth clubs who typically have limited financial resources.

Sports education is not just about talent, but access to the resources needed to turn that talent into performance. Children’s and junior clubs play a crucial role in the development of future footballers, and community support can make the difference between a dream coming true and a path abandoned too soon.
