On Friday, October 31, the 55-year-old artist was photographed in the yard of the Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution in New Jersey. He had been transferred there the day before to serve the remainder of his 50-month sentence for sex crimes, People writes.
The artist is housed in a dormitory-type unit within the penitentiary. The prison breakfast includes fruit, hot oatmeal, wholemeal bread with jam, coffee and skim milk — served before sunrise at 6:00 a.m. (local time).
For lunch, served around 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, the menu includes chicken fajitas, cilantro rice, black beans, sweet corn, fruit and a drink.
Dinner, served at 4 p.m., will consist of roast beef or lentils, mashed potatoes, assorted vegetables with brown gravy, wholemeal bread, margarine and a drink, according to the prison’s menu.
In the image first published by TMZ, Combs appears wearing a dark blue jacket and gray beanie, sporting a white beard and staring off into the distance.
His new routine is very different from his previous time at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC), where he spent time with family visits and even organized a six-week course called “Free Game with Diddy”about business and entrepreneurship, according to a court filing.
His legal team requested the transfer from MDC to Fort Dix, a low-security prison that offers the Rehabilitation Drug Addiction Program (RDAP). Federal Judge Arun Subramanian recommended that Diddy be placed in any available treatment program.
Last month, the tycoon was sentenced to 50 months in prison after being found guilty of two counts of transporting persons for prostitution at his trial in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
But the hip-hop star could be released in less than three years after being granted a reduced sentence for the time he spent in custody.
Aristul faced a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison after his conviction in July on two counts of arranging for paid male escorts to travel across state lines to participate in drug-fueled sex shows with Combs’ girlfriends while he recorded videos and masturbated.
The jury acquitted him of the more serious charges of racketeering and sex trafficking, which could have earned him a life sentence.
According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Diddy was scheduled to be released on May 8, 2028. The date suggests that since he had already spent about a year in custody before his sentencing, he could be eligible for a reduced sentence for good behavior, although the term could be changed.
We remind you that among the most shocking evidence presented in this process is a video recording from 2016, broadcast for the first time by CNN, in which Combs is caught brutally beating his ex-girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura (38 years old), in a hotel corridor in Los Angeles.
The images were captured on hotel surveillance cameras, and security guard Israel Florez, the prosecution’s first witness, said he filmed them with his phone on the hotel’s security camera monitor to show his wife.
He said he found Cassie scared, huddled in a corner with her hood pulled over her head.
