“As I promised, I dine along with hospital managers, exactly with the same food that patients receive!
Today, during the official visit to the Târgu Mureș County Emergency Clinical Hospital, we checked both the ongoing investments and conditions in the hospital kitchen. The food is prepared properly, the service is impeccable, and the respect for the patient is seen in every detail.
To convince myself that I received exactly the same food as the patients, I visited a salon in the orthopedic section and discussed directly with the hospitalized patients.
I was convinced: Maybe!

Where the administration is involved and respect for the patient is a priority, things work.
Unfortunately, I know that in other hospitals it is not the same. Therefore, I ask the managers public to take urgent measures where the situation requires it. I will definitely arrive in hospitals where things do not look here and promise you that I and the manager will have the same table!
Respect for the patient does not mean only medical treatment, but also care for each aspect of hospitalization, including the food offered. It is a minimum gesture of decency and normality, which I consider essential ”, the minister transmitted on Facebook.
Patients can report directly, online, situations in which they receive bad food in hospitals
On July 8, Alexandru Rogobete had announced that patients will be able to report directly, online to receive poor quality food in hospitals. “I promise you that I will stay at the table with the hospital manager and we will eat both of the portion that is served to the patients,” he said.
