Poll: Nicușor Dan would win a new mandate, with 46.1%. It is followed by Piedone, with 41.1%. Cîrstoiu would barely pass 10%

A survey commissioned by Nicușor Dan places him in first place in the intention to vote for the Capital City Hall, with 46.1% of those who mentioned going to the polls, followed by Cristian Popescu Piedone, with 41.1%. Cătălin Cîrstoiu would have been voted by 10.1% of those interviewed, if there were elections next Sunday.

In the next place would be Mihai Enache (AUR), with 2.3%. Another independent was indicated by 0.1% of respondents, and someone else was selected by 0.4%.

As for the City Council, the PSD-PNL Alliance is at 37.1% voting intention, followed by the United Right with 28.4%. AUR would gather 8.9% of the votes, PUSL 8.6%, REPER 5.7%, and Diana Sosoacă's SOS 4.2%.

2.8% of the votes would go to the AER Environmental Alliance, 1.6% to Victor Ponta's PRO Romania, 1.4% to the UDMR, 0.6% to an independent, and 0 to another candidate, 9%

The survey was carried out by SC Verifield SRL, controlled by Ecaterina Ene, at the behest of Nicușor Dan, between April 10-17, on a sample of 1800 respondents.

Data were collected via telephone interviews, with a maximum margin of error of +/-2.31% at a 95% confidence level.

A survey carried out in April by CURS placed Cristian Popescu Piedone in first place in terms of voting intention, with 38% of the votes, followed by Nicușor Dan, with 27%, and the candidate of the PSD-PNL Alliance, Cătălin Cîrstoiu, with 23% .
