The Finprotect Association, following the success of the first financial education seminar held at the Gymnasium School no. 197 from Bucharest, in partnership with the educational unit and with the support of Mrs. Stupinaru Stefania Ramona, organized the second seminar dedicated to the fourth-grade students, in the form of a practical financial education workshop.
The purpose of the activity was to familiarize the students with fundamental economic notions, such as: organizing and functioning of a company, responsible management of money, the production and sale process, cost calculation and profit. Students have learned how to produce an object, how to establish its price according to costs (raw material, employees, taxes, taxes) and how a profit can be obtained. Specifically, they participated in the making of ecological paintings from natural lichens, which they then “sold” symbolically, applying the principles discussed.
According to coordinating professor Stan Cristina Mihaela: “The children understood, through practical activity, how the process of establishing the price and promoting a product works, discovering that behind each company there is a well thought out strategy, which changed their perspective on the products around them.”
The educational project was carried out with the support of 123credit, UNSAR, Intaro Insurance Services SA, Moss Gloss Sauce and InfoSig Claim, to whom we thank for involvement.
“Through this practical and interactive approach, children not only learn economic concepts, but they begin to understand the value of work, the importance of planning and their role as future active citizens. We are grateful to the Gymnasium School no.197 and to Mrs. Stupinaru Stefania Ramona for the opening and support offered in the implementation of this project,” Robert said.
The Finprotect Association will continue to promote financial education as an essential part of personal training. “Each financial education workshop we organize is an investment in the future of children. We want them to understand as little as the economy works and how they can make responsible financial decisions. Their enthusiasm and curiosity confirm that practical education makes the difference. At the end of this seminar we remained with a clear idea.” – Valentin Blăjan, National Development Leasing & Credit Manager at 123credit.ro
