Prime Minister Ciolacu announces a government reshuffle: “It will be a weekly monitoring in the Government”

Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu announced that, in the next period, there will be a government reshuffle, and the ministers will be monitored weekly.

Prime Minister Ciolacu was asked on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Antena 3 CNN if after the presidential elections he considers a government reshuffle.

“Definitely there will be a reshuffle. I am firmly convinced. Now we are in a full cycle of renegotiation. They will come up with memorandums, they have already come to the Government, by which each weekly progress. I am not talking about monthly progress. It will be a monitoring within the Government with a weekly progress. 60-65% are those in education and those in health in the budget system, both central and locally ”said Prime Minister Ciolacu.

Also the head of the Executive also said that “Romania needs a fiscal reform, predictable for at least five years.”

“When you make a fiscal reform you have to take into account the context.
