Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu urged Romanians to look to the future with confidence in a video message published on his Facebook page.
“The Holy Feast of the Resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ, awaited today with joy by Orthodox Christians, Greek Catholics, Old Rite Christians, Pentecostals, Baptists, Christians according to the Gospel, from all over the world, symbolizes the passage through sacrifice to the Light of the Resurrection, the overcoming of suffering and hope eternal life. It is a celebration of communion, which urges us to solidarity and care for our neighbor. Christian teachings remind us that together we can overcome life's difficulties and give us hope for a better future”Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu sent.
According to the Prime Minister, “Easter for us, Romanians, is traditionally a family celebration. It is the time when we gather around the table, all generations, from the oldest to the youngest, to enjoy together the Resurrection of the Lord. Faith unites through love and forgiveness. I send wishes of peace and health to everyone, and to the believers who celebrate Easter in these days, I wish them blessed holidays with their loved ones”.
The Prime Minister published several images from the resurrection service he attended, standing in the middle of the crowd.
