Titus Corlățean’s team accuses “Methods of pressure and intimidation”
The first to announce that he supports Titus Corlatean is the mayor of Buzau, Constantin Toma. “I believe in his strength and desire to bring the PSD to the great public trusts that have consecrated him, having around him valuable people, faithful to the social-democratic principles and with successful visions for Romania.”is the positioning of Robert Cazanciuc, another supporter of Corlatean.
Senator Titus Corlățen claims that his team is much more numerous, but they cannot assume public because of the pressures: “It is not yet a moment of public assumption“, He explained in the show Victoriei Square from Europa FM, because”The political life in a party such as PSD is complicated. This with the execution applied to some of the colleagues in the room, but there are ways of supervision, monitoring, pressure, intimidation, threats, more through the media, more directly through people from institutions. (…) It happens and it is a reality. ”
The “execution” about which the senator speaks is to change some members from the management of the Chamber of Deputies, whose head was taken over by Sorin Grindeanu after the executive withdrawal. Natalia Intotero, former Minister of the Family in the Ciolacu Government, took the place of Daniel Suciu as vice -president of the Chamber of Deputies, and Simona Bucur Oprescu, former Minister of Labor, replaced Mitică Mărgărit as a questionor of the Chamber of Deputies.
