The former Minister of Labor mentions that he will propose in the PSD and Parliament a legislative initiative for the urgent reintroduction of the measure, if Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan will not extend the ceiling, according to AGERPRES.

The government said on Saturday that the decision to eliminate the ceiling of the commercial addition to the basic foods was taken by the ruling coalition.
“The coalition decided, without any contrary opinion, at that time, that the last three -month extension of the ceiling was to be the last, because it caused economic distortions both at the level of the producers and the traders”, informed the Executive.
According to the quoted source, next week Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan will have discussions with retailers’ representatives to ensure that the non -rating of the ceiling will not cause significant increases in prices.
The interim president of the PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, said on Saturday that the Social Democratic Party does not agree with a possible quitting the commercial addition in the case of basic foods, which would be raised from October 1, and that this decision would not have been discussed in the ruling coalition.
