FNMCV draws attention that “railway safety is in danger”.

Life beats the movie. Railway safety is in danger! The current concern of the governors to return at any cost a sector I do not understand is deeply contrary to the realities in the field. Discuss the reduction of the work schedule, but completely ignore the lack of essential investments in railway infrastructure”, It is shown in a statement issued by FNMCV.

The reaction of the trade unionists led by Grigore Mare was made against the background of the railway incident on Friday morning on the Constanta-Mangalia route. Two wagons of a freight train, in the area of Agigea lock station, derailed, and one of them overturned.

The train, which belongs to the TFG private operator, transports 25 wagons loaded with car parts and was traveling on the Ciumești-Constanța Ferry -boat route. The non -involved wagons were withdrawn at the Agigea Nord station to release the gauge on the I North Agigea – Agigea lock. The accident will be investigated by an AGIFER specialized commission, which will determine the exact causes that led to its production, CFR SA representatives have also transmitted.

While, in offices, the “cuts” are the only agenda, the safety of the railway circulation is on maximum alert. Today, in Romania, he has derailed a freight train. It is still an alarm signal ignored by the decision makers who, from carelessness or lack of vision, treat the railway field as a simple chapter of expenses. We draw attention: on the same lines travel and passenger trains. Any deraishes, any malfunction, any negligence can become a tragedy. We publicly ask for responsibility, dialogue and real investments. We ask for the safety of passengers and workers. Life beats the movie. Take care of people. Of all! ”, said Grigore Mare, the president of FNMCV.

Also, a serious incident took place recently on the Oradea-Constanța route, after a train of CFR Călaturi lost two wagons during walking, between stations. The Interregio Night Train IRN 1922 continued to run with only part of the topping, while the wagons were stuck on the route, with passengers inside. It seems that a coupling hook has broken, causing the gasket to separate.
