Registration for the fall admission session at the Romanian-American University has begun

The Romanian-American University announces the opening of applications for the fall admission session to the bachelor’s and master’s programs for the academic year 2024-2025. Registrations can be made online or physically, at the headquarters of the University of Bucharest, Exhibition Blvd., No. 1B, until September 13, 2024. The admission competition, both for the bachelor’s and for the master’s degree, will take place on September 14, 2024. The admission results will be displayed within 2 calendar days of the competition at the University headquarters and online, in the dedicated section of the website www.rau.ro.

The Romanian-American University places special emphasis on education and performance, being the only private higher education institution in Romania that grants toll-free places young people with exceptional academic results. Annual, 20% of students enrolled in undergraduate programs and 10% of those in master’s programs, taught in Romanian, benefit from tuition free within the seven faculties available: Faculty of International Business, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Physical Education, Sports and Physiotherapy, Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Faculty of Managerial Informatics, Faculty of Management-Marketing, Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management.

Admission to the bachelor’s programs in Romanian at the Romanian-American University is based on the average obtained at the baccalaureate (50%) and on a certificate or attestation (50%) issued by pre-university education institutions and recognized by the Ministry of Education, or on institutionally recognized attestations in the fields of economics, computer science, language Romanian or foreign languages.

Candidates who do not hold certificates will take a Competition Testwhich can be an essay or an online interview (of their choice), in which they explain their motivation for choosing the Romanian-American University and the field of study (faculty/specialization). High school students who obtained the baccalaureate diploma and won first, second, third prizes, mentions or special prizes at national and/or international school olympiads (recognized by the Ministry of Education) can be admitted directly, without taking the admission competition, the grade for the test of the competition being equal to 10 (ten).

For admission to undergraduate programs taught in Englishcandidates are assessed through an online interview in English and based on a document confirming their level of English proficiency.

In terms of master’s programs, admission is based on an essay or project according to the specified topic, taking into account the undergraduate average. Selection is made in descending order of final averages, depending on the number of places available.
