On weekend May 10-11, Bucharest is preparing for the 14th edition of OMV Petrom Bucharest Half Marathon, Over 10,000 amateur and professional runners, being expected to start the race that has become a urban tradition.
For the good development of the event, the road restrictions will apply as follows:
Saturday, May 10th

Starting at 05.00, the delimitation of the sports colors and those for emergencies with fences and tape will be made, without closing the road traffic;

on the routes of the 10km individual races and 2.5 km as well as on the streets that access them, between 07.30 – 14.00;

At 08.45 the start for people with disabilities will be started.
The popular race (Fun Race), starting with the hour 12:00: Start – From the Boulevard of Libertatii, right Splaiul Independence, the United Nations Square, Continue Splaiul Independence, right Icbratianu Boulevard, right Unirii Boulevard, Fountains, Continue Unirii Boulevard, Right Bretea Constitution, Left Libertâţii Boulevard, Constitution Square – ARRIVAL, At 11.45, the start for people with disabilities will be started.

Kiseleff to the Arc de Triomphe, Return 190 degrees) D. The traffic arteries will be reopened to the sequential road traffic, depending on the position of the last runner that falls during the regulatory time of the competition.

Nicolae Caramfil- continued to the Bdul Aerogarii- DN 1;
– Mihai Bravu Road – Labor Passage – Bucur Obor- Ștefan cel Mare road;
– Viilor Road – Progress Road – Grozavești Road – Basarab – Ion Mihalache road – Arc de Triomphe Square;
– Bucharest Road Ploiești – Kiseleff Road – Arcului de Triomf Square – Prezan Boulevard – Aviatorilor – Victoriei Square – Roman Square – Universitii Square – Imbribetianu Boulevard – Unirea Passage;
– Bucuresti Road Ploiești – Aerogrii Boulevard – Aviator Alexandru Șerbănescu street;

For West – East Relationship It is recommended through the Union Passage, Victoria Passage or Basarab Passage using routes:
– Regina Maria Boulevard – Str. June 11 – Mărășești bd – Dimitrie Cantemir Boulevard – Unirea Passage – Icbrătianu Boulevard – University Square – Carol I Boulevard;
– Nicolae Titulescu Şoseaua – Victoriei Passage – Iancu de Hunedoara Boulevard – Ștefan cel Mare Road;
– Grozăvești Road or Vasile Milea – Basarab Passage – Budul Banu Manta – Ion Mihalache Boulevard – Alexandru Averescu Boulevard – Arc de Triomphe – Constantin Prezan Bdul – Calea Dorobanților – Ștefan cel Mare.
Road restrictions and segments subject to these restrictions and alternative routes will be taken by the most important mobility, Waze and Tomtom applications.
