Rockstadt Extreme Fest, the biggest rock and metal festival in Romania, continues to expand its lineup and announces important new additions, once again confirming the event’s status as a reference point for the Eastern European heavy scene. In parallel, the organizers are launching a special holiday campaign, dedicated to the national and international community of fans.
The Rockstadt Extreme Fest line-up brings together world touring bands and consistently fill top venues and festivals, along with special shows and rare appearances that are hard to catch on the international circuit. Top artists and special shows at Rockstadt Extreme Fest
Sabatonone of the most famous and acclaimed heavy metal bands in the world today, arrives for the first time at Rockstadt Extreme Fest at a career peak. After the release of the latest album, Legendsa conceptual material inspired by historical landmarks and prominent personalities of human history, the band recently completed an extensive European tour. The stage production, the most complex to date, included a live orchestra and a double stage, and Sabaton performed night after night in front of over 20,000 peoplefor almost three weeks. The album also includes the song Impalerdedicated to Vlad Țepeș, a detail with special resonance for the Romanian public.

Scheduled between mid-July and the end of August, the tour will include the most important European festivals, including Rockstadt Extreme Fest.
Black Label Societythe project founded by the legendary Zakk Wylde – Ozzy Osbourne’s guitarist and Pantera member – returns to European stages for the first time in more than five years. Zakk Wylde is considered one of the most influential guitarists of contemporary rock, with almost three decades of activity alongside Ozzy Osbourne.
Rare shows and special appearances
Candlemass joins the Rockstadt Extreme Fest 2026 lineup with a special anniversary showwhich marks 40 years of activity of one of the fundamental bands of doom metal. After four decades on the stage, Candlemass claims only a few special shows in the worldand Romania is one of the few countries where this anniversary concert can be seen live.
A really special moment is also the project Sventevith (Storming Near the Baltic)signed by Nergalthe lead singer and guitarist of Behemoth, currently considered the most important black metal band in the world. The project marks 30 years since Behemoth’s debutand the album Sventevith will be interpreted integralalongside Misthyrmingin an extremely limited number of live appearances in Europe.
