Romania is among the states with the lowest level of crime, offering a more favorable situation from this point of view than many Western European countries. In recent years, Romania has recorded figures below the European and international average for crimes such as robberies, thefts and other acts committed with violence.

At the same time, in order to achieve these objectives, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has developed a very good collaboration with international partners, especially with institutions from the European Union states, with the structures of the European Commission and the USA, a strategic partner“, the Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a statement on Friday.
