A moderate earthquake, with magnitude 4, occurred on Wednesday, at 01:48, in Buzău County, Vrancea seismic zone, according to data published by the National Research and Development Institute for Earth Physics (INCDFP).
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 22 km, near the cities: 25 km north of Buzău, 41 km southwest of Focșani, 82 km west of Brăila, 86 km northeast of Ploiesti, 87 km west of Galati and 94 km north of Slobozia.
Also, on Wednesday, at 05:56, also in Buzău county, there was another weak earthquake, with a magnitude of 2.5, at a depth of 107.4 km. The earthquake occurred near the following cities: 48 km northwest of Buzău, 50 km west of Focşani, 71 km southeast of Sfântu-Gheorghe, 76 km east of Braşov and 79 km northeast of Ploiesti.
