Despite the growing popularity of winter travel, Romanians remain among those who travel less in winter, often preferring comfort “from home” instead of a sunny beach.
However, in the first two months of autumn, according to a study carried out in eight countries, the number of international tourists who chose Egypt as a holiday destination increased by almost 30% compared to the same period last year, according to data provided by the tourism OPERATOR “Join UP!”. In September and October, almost 100,000 tourists visited Egypt, of which over 12,000 were Romanians.
