Al-Nassr, with Cristiano Ronaldo on the pitch, were eliminated from the quarter-finals of the Asian Champions League after Al-Ain (United Arab Emirates) prevailed 3-1 on penalties.

After a 0-1 in the round, Al-Nassr won 3-2 (1-1) at home on Monday, but it went to penalty kicks after both teams scored one more goal in extra time. Ghareeb (45+5), Eisa (51, own goal), Telles (72) and Cristiano Ronaldo (118, penalty) scored for Al-Nassr, while Al-Ain scored through Rahimi (28, 45) and Al – Shamsi (103). Ayman Yahya, from the hosts, saw the red card in the 98th minute.
In the shootout, Ronaldo scored for Al-Nassr, but Miroslav Brozovic, Alex Telles and Otavio missed, while Rahimi, Romero and Al-Shamsi converted for Al-Ain.
Al-Ain qualified for the semi-finals of the 2016 AFC Champions League for the first time and will play the winner of Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad. In the round, Al-Hilal prevailed 2-0.
