The change introduced by Ryanair comes after a historical vote of the EU committee has established the requirement that passengers are allowed a free 40x30x15 cm luggage on each flight.

A Ryanair spokesman told Money: “The current size of Ryanair’s free personal luggage is 40x25x20 cm.
“Following the new minimum size of the luggage imposed by the EU, 40x30x15 cm, Ryanair will increase the maximum personal luggage size to 40x30x20 cm, so that personal luggage limit A Ryanair is greater than the EU standard. ”
“The new luggage size measurement devices are being implemented and will be completed by the end of September.
