At the World of Samsung 2025, the company revealed its vision of the connected home of the future, in which artificial intelligence plays a central role.
From optimizing energy consumption to customizing users experience, new innovations promise more efficient, intuitive and sustainable housing. In this interview, we talk to Victor Armăşelu, vice -president Samsung Electronics Romania and Bulgaria, about the integration of artificial intelligence in the new range of appliances and about the technologies that will define the houses of the future.
1. Samsung presented to the World of Samsung 2025 a vision of the smart home. How do you change people’s interaction with appliances?
“At Samsung, we want technology to be a real partner in our lives, not just an instrument. Artificial intelligence allows us to transform the appliances into smart devices, which adapt to our individual needs. Imagine that the refrigerator suggests recipes based on the ingredients you already have, or that the washing machine for a minimum of resources. That means a simpler and more efficient life. ”
2. Sustainability is increasingly important for users. How helps smartthings and artificial intelligence help us to have a more friendly lifestyle?
“Sustainability is a priority for us, and technology helps us to make significant progress. Through the SmartHings platform and the AI Energy Mode mode, we can monitor and optimize energy consumption. Refrigerators with AI hybrid cooling and dry+ dryers are designed to reduce energy consumption, without compromising performance. Life, but also contributes to a more sustainable future. ”
3. The concept of “Screens Everywhere” marks the new Samsung appliance range. How does this technology improve the experience of users?
The concept “Screens Everywhere” transforms appliances into interactive information and communication centers. The refrigerator with AI Vision Inside becomes a smart hub in the kitchen, where we can check the stock of food, access recipes or listen to music. The washing machines and Bespoke dryers are equipped with tactile screens that provide real -time information and allow us to control devices by touch or voice command. Basically, we transform the appliances into active partners in everyday life. ”
4. Personalization is an essential aspect of the new Samsung appliances. How does you manage to adapt their functions to the needs of each user?
“Artificial intelligence allows us to personalize the experience of users in a unique way. The refrigerators learn our food preferences and suggest recipes, the washing machines automatically adjust the settings according to the type of fabric, and the dryers regulate the duration and temperature depending on the humidity of the clothes. Practically, each electrocasnic becomes part of our lifetime.”
5. What are the following steps in the evolution of smart housing and what innovations can we expect to see in the future?
“The future of intelligent housing will bring an even more advanced integration of artificial intelligence, connectivity and automation. We go to a future in which the appliances not only respond to orders, but anticipate our needs. Data security and sustainability will remain priorities, and our homes will become more and more intuitive,”
