According to experts, the new Samsung model is not much different from the previous one, except for more rounded corners and black frames around the screen, which are thinner.

Instead, the Korean company takes a “step back” at the chipset level, putting Snapdragon on all models, due to the production difficulties encountered by its own chip division in their development, writes News.ro.

So, the three models, S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra, are based on the Snapdragon 8 Elite, built on 3nm, with eight cores, two of which are performance and six efficiency.

The base version (S25) has a 6.2-inch screen, while the plus version has a 0.5-inch larger screen. The Galaxy S25 Ultra tries to convince with a 6.9-inch 1440p screen.

Coming to the camera, the new model has the same photo system composed of a 50MP main camera, a 10MP telephoto camera (3x optical zoom) and a 12MP ultrawide camera. The ultra version, however, has four cameras, 200MP (main), 50MP, 10MP (both telephoto, 5X optical zoom), 50MP (ultrawide).

Both models have 12GB of RAM, while storage starts at 128GB for the S25 and 256GB for the S25+, stopping at 512GB for both. In the case of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the company promises up to 1TB of storage.

The three models have batteries of 4000 mAh, 4900 mAh and 5000 mAh. The Galaxy S25 will charge with 25W per wire, while the rest of the models reach 45W. All three have Qi2 wireless charging (if a special case is used), faster on the Ultra version than the other two.ț

Prices start at $800 for the S25, for the Plus version, customers will shell out another $200. For the Ultra version, those who want it will have to pay at least $1,300, depending on the desired options.
