Five days after the beginning of this whole scandal, Sânziana Negru posted a video in which she apologizes for the situation created related to the products purchased from Lidl, which the star advertised, and then threw them in the trash.
The video was posted a day after the supermarket announced that it had cut ties with the influencer.
“This message is for you, my community, and the people I grew up with and learned from for a little longer than a day or a quick scroll through my feed. I won’t go into all the details of last weekend’s situation. Not because they aren’t important, but because I don’t think they’re important anymore now that everyone seems to know what I did, what the intent was, and especially the implied truth.
I will say this much: I was wrong. It was a hasty gesture, it was a gesture that we did not notice at the time. It wasn’t done out of malice, it wasn’t premeditated, it wasn’t thought out and, above all, it wasn’t a gesture made out of indifference to food waste”said Sânziana Negru, in a video made public on Instagram, where she is followed by over 400,000 people.
But just hours after posting the video apologizing, she posted a series of photos mocking her fans and critics, saying “can we spell Lidl correctly and not Lidel?”
This post was followed by two more in which the influencer continued to ridicule her fans, saying she was apologizing and then retracting her apology.

The influencer’s video and subsequent posts were bombarded with negative comments, with people criticizing her for the fact that the video was made in an arrogant, unprofessional tone, or that she didn’t actually apologise.
“Anyway, it’s good that you said nothing much in this clip and that you don’t have a super arrogant attitude. You can see how sorry you are, you apologized a lot…”, one of the Internet users commented on the post posted by Sânziana Negru, in which she apologized for the situation. This comment was liked by over 1,000 people in less than 24 hours.
