Schwarzenegger surprised travelers who used the subway in Vienna: for what they thanked them

The inhabitants of Vienna who went on Tuesday, June 3, with public transport had a unique sound surprise: the legendary voice of the Austrian became a star in Hollywood, Arnold Schwarzenegger, thanked them for choosing the subway, congratulating them for the contribution to the fight against climate change.

“Thank you for your commitment in favor of a healthy planet,” Schwarzenegger, in German, transmitted to the passengers on their way to work. The message, which ran throughout the day, continued in English: “You contribute to the collective action and to eliminate pollution.”

The unmistakable voice of the actor has heard from 6:00 local time in all the Viennese subway. In Vienna, over 2.4 million trips are registered daily, at a population of about two million inhabitants, reports France24.

Present in Vienna for the ninth Austrian World Summit, hosted in the former Imperial Hofburg Palace, Arnold Schwarzenegger pleaded, in the opening of the event, for active involvement in combating global warming, regardless of the position occupied in society.

This year, the Austrian World Summit participates the former British prime minister Tony Blair, as well as Austrian Prime Minister Christian Stocker and Austrian president Alexander Van der Bellen.

“People have become tired of being. They want to be heroes-from the mayor to CEO-, able to improve their lives now,” said the Hollywood star.
